I can still remember Thanksgiving. My mother would wake up the morning of and stand on the scale in our kitchen, then stand on it once again holding this huge turkey in her hands. She’d tell us that it was the easiest way to figure out how many hours she’d have to cook it for. Years later I still remember the day long festivities that would lead-up to Thanksgiving dinner. And especially the one time each year when we’d get to taste my mother’s homemade cranberry sauce. Today, I share with you this simple recipe.
